I have worked in public education over 18 years and I have over a decade of experience in teacher education. My expertise is developing interactive professional learning experiences that are customized to the needs of the campus community. My passion is education and in our current society, it is impossible to have any job without some level of technology. My goal is to help educators find innovative ways to use technology to enhance curriculum so that their learners are not only consuming but also producing with technology. 

Qualified

I was selected by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) to serve on the Technical Working Group to refresh the Standards for Teachers. The 12 educators selected to be in the Technical Working Group relied on our extensive background of working with teachers to build technology standards that could serve in an international capacity for 8 - 10 years. The new standards will be released to the public at the ISTE Conference in June 2017.

I am a certified principal, a certified teacher, a certified technology director, and a Google Certified Trainer. These on-going certifications and qualifications prepare me to develop and deliver high quality, impactful professional learning for educators. 

Customized

Professional learning can take many forms. In some instances it is a quick one-hour meeting and other times it is a comprehensive multi-day workshop. Depending on the needs of the campus community, it is very easy to customize professional learning experiences. Individual training sessions can cover a variety of topics and time frames while comprehensive workshops can be customized so that each day is a coordinated effort to meet the needs of the campus.
